3. WhatsApp Web Group Calling

A long-awaited update finally allows users to make voice and video calls directly from their browser without needing the desktop application.

• What it does: Users can join or start group calls (supporting up to 32 people) directly through Chrome, Edge, or Safari. It also includes “Call Links” and the ability to schedule calls in advance, similar to Zoom or Google Meet.

4. Past Group Chat History for New Members

Admins can now choose to share recent message history with people who have just joined a group.

• What it does: When enabled, new participants can see up to 100 recent messages from the previous 14 days. This eliminates the need for admins to resend important announcements or pinned details every time a new person joins.

5. Custom Chat Themes & AI Writing Help

Personalization has taken a major step forward with two specific tools:

• AI Chat Themes: Instead of just choosing from a few colors, you can ask Meta AI to generate a custom wallpaper and theme based on a mood (e.g., “Cyberpunk neon blue” or “Sunset at a beach”).
• Private Writing Help: WhatsApp now offers an AI-powered “Writing Help” tool. It suggests different styles for your messages—such as professional, funny, or supportive—without sending your data to external servers, ensuring your privacy while you craft the perfect reply.
